Dr. Orellana was born in New York City and grew up in South Jersey. Dr. Orellana went to Atlantic City High School where he played the trumpet in band. He loves music, especially by Italian musicians. His favorites include Sinatra, Pavarotti, and Bocelli. He is also a big fan of Norah Jones.

Dr. Orellana went to Penn State for college. He then went to Rowan School of Osteopathic Medicine. He did his medicine and cardiology training at the University of Texas at Houston. Dr. Orellana was drawn to the relaxed atmosphere of Grand Junction. In his free time, he likes to read, work out, hang out with his nephew, and go hiking with his mom.
